Story
Tracy Thompson, the heart and soul of Lester Park Elementary, needs our help.
Always the first to lend a hand to others, Tracy recently found herself in need of support. While caring for her mother, Tracy suffered lumbar fractures. During her treatment, doctors discovered that she has Multiple Myeloma, a serious form of cancer.
She is now facing a long road of treatments, including regular visits to the Mayo Clinic, and will be staying in Wilmar during this challenging time. With this diagnosis comes a growing list of unexpected expenses including medical bills, travel costs, and time away from work. Tracy is already on leave, and her husband Shawn will also be taking time off to help with appointments and provide care.
Tracy is the glue that holds our school community together. She has given so much to all of us; students, staff, and families alike. Now it’s our turn to give back.
Any support, whether through a donation, a kind word, or sharing this message, will mean the world to Tracy and her family.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for considering helping someone who has touched so many lives.
